Dr. Cynthia Curtis had a joint paper with Sam Taylor ’09, “The Jones Polynomial and Boundary Slopes of Alternating Knots,” published last week by the Journal of Knot Theory and Its Ramifications. The abstract for the paper is available free on the journal’s website.
