Rutgers and TCNJ link in Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Graduate Program in Statistics and Biostatistics at Rutgers University have announced the following collaboration in the interests of streamlining transition between the TCNJ undergraduate program and the Rutgers MS and PhD programs:

TCNJ students with a math and statistics GPA of 3.5 or better, and with the endorsement of the department’s statistics coordinator, may apply to the Rutgers MS program in Statistics and Biostatistics without needing to take the GRE or pay an application fee.

TCNJ students with a math and statistics GPA of 3.5 or better, and with an A in Real Analysis, would be encouraged to apply for the Rutgers PhD program through a streamlined application process with no application fee.

TCNJ students applying for the Rutgers programs would be permitted to take appropriate Rutgers graduate courses during their senior year.
