Dr. Robert Cunningham was invited to present the keynote address for the annual Mathematics Education Research Symposium at the National University of Ireland in Galway. The title of his address was “Building Student Understanding of Mathematics through Reasoning and Proof.”
In addition, he served as a member of a panel discussion during the conference. The two-day conference took place on the 25th and 26th of March 2013. This conference included poster sessions and presentations designed to showcase student research projects in Mathematics Education.
