TCNJ’s students did exceptionally well at the 2016 Garden State Undergraduate Math Competition (GSUMC), held on April 16, 2016 at William Patterson University. The team comprised of Alana Huszar, Ben Castor, and Israel Curbelo placed 3rd out of 32 teams in the team competition, and Alana Huszar tied for the top female score in the individual portion of the competition. In addition, the team of Matt Sichel, Michael Ploch, and Ula Widocki place ninth. Ben Castor and Kristen Villane also presented posters at the poster session. Many thanks to Visiting Professor Jeremy Russell for preparing the teams, and Andrew Clifford and Cindy Curtis for mentoring Ben and Kristen in their research, and congratulations to all of our students on their achievements!
